turtle pen
This weekend, Daddy and I finished a turtle pen for Dribble. It has plants, two rocks, and food and water bowl. It also has a top with a screen to protect Dribble from other animals.

Yellow Belly Turtle
This time I have some great news! The Darby's brought me a surprise! Lacey called and said she would be here in seven minutes. Guess what the surprise was??? You guessed it, a turtle! A water turtle! A Yellow Belly Turtle! I named her Emerald because her shell is emerald green. You can see how pretty she is from the pictures above. She is not any bigger than Bibble so it is a replacement for Bibble. She is going to live with tadpoles in a water aquarium. Mikey and I will share him. I think it is so nice that Lacey and Mikey thought about me. This will help me stop thinking about Bibble.

Bad News
I have some really bad news. On Tuesday, Bibble moved on with Jesus. I could not stop crying at first. I buried beside where the turtle pen will be (I am building a outside turtle pen for my turtles). How he died was his shell shattered to pieces. Bye Bye Bibble

Update on Dribble and Bibble
I heard that some of you have been wondering about how my turtles are doing. You are at the right place. They seem to still be hibernating but one day last week, the turtles were out in the water. Dribble ate one worm that day but I still have not seen Bibble eating. Every once in awhile, I put them in the water to see if they need a drink. I did see Dribble drinking water today. I found him a worm but he did not eat it. He ate some of his store bought food. Bibble sat in the water but he did not eat. He did crawl around a little today. Now he is back in his hiding place. It is interesting how they both have a special place that they sleep. Dribble's hiding place is in a cave and Bibble's is under a plant.
